About Investment Calculator

Investment Calculator is an independent site with one job: give people clear, free tools to project what saving and investing can grow into, without a signup wall or a sales pitch.

Every calculator runs in your browser using standard finance formulas. The future value, compound interest, and related math come straight from how these figures are defined in finance, and each tool's page shows the formula so you can check the result yourself.

Nothing you type is sent to a server or stored. The amounts you enter stay on your device.

Who writes this

Editorial work is produced by Encore Editorial. Our contributing writer for business and finance is Jessica Martinez, a former credit analyst who explains the math behind each tool and checks the formulas against a primary source before anything publishes.

How we keep it trustworthy

Investing content carries real consequences, so we keep claims non-promissory and point to authoritative sources. For investor basics and definitions, we reference the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission at investor.gov. Our full approach is described in our editorial standards.

Important: Results are estimates for planning and education. They are not financial, tax, or investment advice. Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal.
